The purposes of the Financial Literacy & Well-Being Week (FLWBW) initiative are to engage the UGA community in money conversations, spotlight financial well-being resources and programs at UGA, increase financial literacy and well-being, and to provide FACS students a unique opportunity to share financial knowledge with others. “This is Not Financial Advice” Film Screening and Q&A with the Director

Tuesday, April 9th 4:00pm-6:30pm at Tate Theatre

Co-hosted with the Student Financial Planning Association

Join us as we screen the newly released award-winning documentary, "This is Not Financial Advice", which exposes the risks and rewards of today’s financial markets and raises awareness for students of a landscape that can be rife with FOMO, scams, and substandard financial advice. The film screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the film’s co-director, Chris Temple, and a member of FINRA's New Investor Initiative team.

Join the ASPIRE Clinic, Department of Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics, and UGA Well-Being Resources on Myers Quad for an afternoon of fun, inflatables, music, food, and lots of great financial information and resources!

Mind, Body, Money: Financial Meditation & Yoga Class

Presented in partnership with UGA Recreational Sports

Wednesday, April 10th 8:15am-9:15am at Myers Quad

Stressed about finances? Take some time to relax with a financial well-being focused yoga and meditation class. Regular physical activity like yoga can help reduce long-term health care costs, benefitting both your health and your pocketbook! Please bring your own mat or towel.
