The Destination Dawgs program is featured in Making a Difference, the quarterly publication of the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities.

Destination Dawgs is designed for students with intellectual disabilities between the ages of 18-25 who have a personal desire - and support from family - to gain skills for self-determination, independent living and career development at the University of Georgia.

Housed in the Institute on Human Development and Disability, the program's goal is for graduates to gain knowledge, skills and competencies that lead to a rewarding adult life.
