Applications for the 2022 SOAR Awards and Outstanding Senior Leaders (OSL) are now open through January 31, 2022.

Join MSP for our Rite of Sankofa Ceremony Information Session for our annual African rite-of-passage graduation ceremony that is held in the spring on May 6, 2022.
At this information session you will find out about important deadlines, registration, rehearsals, and more! Our wonderful MSP Assistant Director Wanda Johnson will be leading this information session, so be sure to have questions prepared for her to answer!
4. UGA Ecotones Winter Concert
The Ecotones are BACK; live and in-person! We'll be holding our semester concert on Sunday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the UGA Chapel. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Get ready for an afternoon of music with hits from artists including: Lizzo, Alicia Keys, Young the Giant, Wallows, and MORE! Student Tickets (with ID): $5; General Admission: $7. Ticket sales at the door can be purchased with cash or Venmo!
Due to COVID-19, we have implemented protocols to keep each other and our community safe. To ensure everyone's safety, all current Ecotones members will be tested within 24 hours of the concert date. We also strongly encourage you to wear a mask for the duration of the concert.
6. Experiential Learning Scholarship Opportunity
The Office of University Experiential Learning is once again accepting applications for the Experiential Learning Scholarship.
The EL Scholarship is open to undergraduates who have completed at least one full semester of UGA coursework. Awards are up to $2500 and can be used for ANY course or non-credit activity that has been approved for experiential learning at UGA.
The spring deadline is February 15, 2022 and includes activities taking place in Maymester, summer, and fall 2022. Scholarship application and FAQs can be found here. For questions, please contact the Office of Experiential Learning.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an undergraduate
- Must have completed at least one full semester of UGA coursework (at time of application)
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be pursuing an EL-approved course or activity
