2. New! Bulldog Basics eStore

Bulldog Basics has created a new eStore that allows students to place their order online. Students will be able to choose Dawson Hall, the ASPIRE Clinic, or Tate Student Center as their pick up location. For more information, please visit the Bulldog Basics website.


3. Student Leadership Advisory Council – Applications Open

Students play a key role in student involvement. The Student Leadership Advisory Council (SLAC) regularly convenes college leaders to provide reciprocal opportunities for administrators to learn more about the student experience and for students to learn more about the College. The mission of SLAC is to enhance the FACS student experience through increasing communication between students and college administration, promoting awareness about the diversity and offerings of FACS as a college, and encouraging student engagement with other students, faculty, staff, alumni, and administrators.

If you are an aspiring FACS Student Leader and interested in joining, please complete this form by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

5. FACS Pick of the Week

First year? Transfer? Or looking to get involved? Come join us at the Virtual Student Organization Fair!

This virtual event will showcase the College’s student organizations allowing representatives (faculty, staff, and students) to share information and provide details on their organization's mission and how becoming involved can lead to leadership opportunities, provide networking opportunities, and much more.

All FACS students are welcome to attend to hear about great opportunities the student organizations offer.  Please refer to the Student Engagement webpage for more information and Zoom links for the event. 


6. UGA Cortona Study Abroad

The University of Georgia's oldest study abroad program has been operating in the medieval Tuscan hill town of Cortona, Italy for more than 50 years. UGA Cortona offers an extensive list of studio art and art history courses, as well as classes in Italian, English, Women's Studies, Science, Business, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Agriculture. Earn UGA credit while living in Tuscany and traveling with the program to Italian cities such as Rome, Florence, Venice, Siena, Naples, Orvieto, Assisi, and many more!
