Effie Antonoudi serves as an instructor and program coordinator in the Department of Financial Planning, Housing, and Consumer Economics and an academic advisor in the Student Success and Advising Center. Effie provides administrative support for Consumer Economics majors on the Griffin Campus, and she serves as a liaison with the other UGA Griffin Campus schools and colleges, other institutions of higher education, and the Griffin community.

Effie created the FACS Greece Study Abroad Program at the University of Georgia. Effie received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Macedonia in Greece, an M.B.A. and M.P.A. from Georgia State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in personal financial planning at Kansas State University. Effie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has over ten years of experience in business – in financial consulting, marketing, accounting, auditing, and, most recently, international tax consulting. She has also worked with the Executive M.B.A. Program at Georgia State University. Effie joined the University of Georgia in January 2016.
