- Learn about the history of the Georgia State Capitol and past political leaders
- Gain a better understanding of how to apply a FACS degree in your career path
- Learn about the legislative process and local issues of importance
- Meet your FACS Legislative Aides and learn more about the program
- Connect with Representatives and Senators from the Athens area
- Network with FACS students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and Extension Agents
- Show your UGA spirit and FACS pride
Schedule Highlights
- Photo and proclamation with the Governor, North Wing Staircase, Capitol Building
- Observations and reading of the resolution in the House and Senate
- Lunch with local Representatives and Guest Speaker
- Capitol Tours

10:30am - House and Senate chamber session observations
12:00pm - Luncheon
1:45pm - Capitol Tours
2:30pm - Return to Athens
