3. FACS Student Organization E-Board End of Year Meeting
Mark your calendars for the FACS Student Organization E-Board End of Year Meeting!
At least one current or incoming student officer must attend the end of year meeting. Faculty and staff advisors are strongly encouraged to attend. This meeting will help you in the re-registration process, offer resources, let you know of some important events for the academic year, and much more. For those that receive funding from the college, we will review the request process. The meeting link and information has been sent via email to Executive Board members of all FACS Student Organizations.

4. Legislative Aide Leadership Fellows Program – Apply Today
Apply to the Legislative Aide Leadership Fellows Program!
Are you interested, but have questions? Wondering how this applies to your major or degree program? Join an upcoming virtual info session! A former Legislative Aide will attend to answer your questions. Check out former Aide experiences here.
Info Session
- Thursday, March 25th from 7:00-7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 30th from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 6th from 5:30-6:00 p.m.
Register for the information session here. Registrations must be received at least one hour prior to the scheduled meeting time.
The program is a full-time spring semester fellowship experience in Atlanta at the Capitol. Fellows are paired with a local Athens area legislator. The program is experiential learning approved, comes with a $4,000 stipend, and integrates career and leadership development. We are accepting applications for 2022, 2023, and 2024. The University of Georgia's oldest study abroad program has been operating in the medieval Tuscan hill town of Cortona, Italy for more than 50 years. UGA Cortona offers an extensive list of studio art and art history courses, as well as classes in Italian, English, Women's Studies, Science, Business, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Agriculture. Earn UGA credit while living in Tuscany and traveling with the program to Italian cities such as Rome, Florence, Venice, Siena, Naples, Orvieto, Assisi, and many more!

8. Spring 2021 Sustainability Certificate Information Session
Interested in exploring the intersection between social justice, economic opportunity, and environmental challenges? The UGA Sustainability Certificate introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to address complex local and global challenges and innovate collaborative solutions. The program provides a broad sustainability framework through courses in the social, economic, and environmental spheres and the application of learning to hands-on capstone projects and the creation of final portfolios.
The Sustainability Certificate can be combined with ANY discipline! Find out more by attending a virtual information session on March 31st from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Zoom. Sign up here.
9. Next Top Entrepreneur – Apply Today
UGA’s Next Top Entrepreneur is open to student startup teams from all over the country. During this live event, teams pitch their existing business plans or business idea in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. At the end of the competition, the winning team is awarded $10,000.

10. Senior Signature – Make Your Gift
Attention Seniors! The deadline to give to Senior Signature is Wednesday, March 31st! Leave your legacy at UGA with a $30 gift to one of over 1,000 available funds and scholarships. Donors are recognized with their names on the class plaque at Tate Plaza. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity!
