Fashion Merchandising students awarded Fashion Scholarship Fund

Lauren Moise and Lindsay Portwood, seniors of the Fashion Merchandising program in the Department of Textiles, Merchandising, and Interiors, are two of 127 winners of the 2023 Fashion Scholarship Fund out of 991 applicants across the U.S. These two students secured $7,500 scholarship and traveled to New York between April 2 - April 3, 2023, to attend award Gala and visit Condé Nast and several fashion companies (e.g., Nordstrom NYC office). The winners met senior editors of Vogue and the fashion industry legend Anna Wintour while networking with top fashion industry professionals, such as Tommy Hilfiger and Emma Grede in the Gala. 

Fashion Scholarship Fund (https://www.fashionscholarshipfund.org/) releases a new case competition each year to recognize talented and passionate students. Hundreds of winning students receive $7,500 to $25,000 monetary awards, internship, and job placement opportunities through the FSF partners (https://www.fashionscholarshipfund.org/for-our-partners).
