Why I chose my major

Originally, I transferred to the University of Georgia to enroll in the dietetics program. At the time, I thought I could help others live well by improving their physical health/wellness. However, after an internship, I quickly learned I did not have the stomach for an allied health profession. Despite the disappointment and uncertainty, I still carried the burning desire to help improve others' overall wellbeing. I discovered that I could carry out this mission in a meaningful way through financial planning. Through open client communication, commitment and critical thinking I am confident I will be a force for good in my community.

What I like most about FACS

100% the people! Each student, staff, and faculty member is genuinely caring. It is an honor to work with and learn alongside hard-working, genuine folks.

Post-graduation plans

I will be working in Atlanta as an associate at CPC Advisors. Working alongside the firm’s other financial advisors, my responsibilities include meeting clients, preparing and reviewing financial documents, running financial goal planning software, and serving on the events, marketing, philanthropy and technology committees.
