- Why I chose my major
As a kid I always loved art and being creative by writing raps or choosing wild outfits to wear. I came into UGA as a double major in finance and fashion merchandising. After taking economics, accounting, and other business classes I knew it was not for me. I changed my major to fashion merchandising not only in remembrance of my mother and her life full of artistic pursuits, but in lieu of how much I needed to express myself. I could not have seen myself crunching numbers and sitting at a desk all day.
- What I like most about FACS
I love the community feeling of the college. I like that the professors care about what I do. I don’t feel like another number in a 300-person class. As well, being one of the few guys I feel out of place at times when learning how to sew a skirt or learn about women's fashion, but many of my professors have made me comfortable in this regard. FACS is a great place for anyone and everyone.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan to move back to Atlanta and search for jobs.
