- Why I chose my major
After researching each of the majors offered in FACS, I decided that Human Development and Family Science was the perfect one for me. HDFS offers a diverse selection of coursework and an engaging curriculum with focus on the challenges faced by families and society over the lifespan. The major has prepared me for a wide variety of career choices, including those within a healthcare setting.
- What I like most about FACS
I appreciate the camaraderie between FACS students. Since FACS is a smaller college, it is easy to connect with others who share similar interests. I also appreciate the knowledgeable professors and instructors and their dedication to the academy. The faculty are extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and supportive of the students.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan to pursue a Master of Public Health degree at Georgia State University with an emphasis in public health policy.
