Why I chose my major

Before I transferred to UGA, I wasn’t pursuing something I was truly passionate about. When I got to UGA, I chose the fshion merchandising major because I have always been interested in fashion. This major gives me the opportunity to express my creativity, be a part of something I really love and gain the knowledge needed for my career.  

What I like most about FACS

Although I transferred in right before junior year, I have always felt right at home within FACS. All the students and professors have been amazing and so welcoming. The knowledge and experience I have gained from FACS is something that will help me into my future. There are also so many ways to get involved and connect with other students in your major!
