Why I chose my major

My major provided the opportunity to develop skills to perform evidence-based research and identify areas of need regarding pressing social issues. I am able to utilize data to guide my thinking and create practical solutions to wicked problems that marginalized communities face. The Applied Consumer Analytics program offers the perfect balance of data science, storytelling and social entrepreneurship. This granted me both the soft and hard skills needed to conduct research and consult.

After extensive time working together, our faculty and classmates become friends and family. I feel so lucky to have found my home in FACS.
