- Why I chose my major
I knew early on I wanted to work in fashion. As a child, I used to cut up my clothes to make new outfits – I don’t think anyone was very happy with me, but I was inspired and loved the creativity fashion offered me. I have a twin sister and have always used fashion as a way to express and differentiate myself. My high school offered fashion merchandising courses and those classes were essential in confirming my love for fashion merchandising. Coming into UGA, I knew fashion merchandising was the major for me and I haven’t regretted it once!
- What I like most about FACS
FACS is special to me because it feels like home. When I walk in, I am comforted by the students and faculty who make such a large school feel so warm and inviting. Everyone is willing to help and excited to be a part of the community.
- Post-graduation plans
I intend to be an assistant buyer.
