Why I chose my major

I chose my major because of its versatility and value. The knowledge I have acquired through this degree can be applied to almost any job industry. Human Development and Family Science also paired well with my major in psychology, furthering my understanding of human behavior and development.

What I like most about FACS

What I like the most about FACS is the supportive environment. I have always felt like academic advisors, professors, and other faculty members truly cared about my academic success and professional growth. I have also always admired my professors’ dedication to the field of Human Development and Family Science and the unique perspectives that they bring to class.

Post-graduation plans

I will be starting my career in Human Resources with TIAA in Charlotte, N.C. and pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at UNC Charlotte.
