- Why I chose my major
I chose financial planning because I enjoy helping people develop positive and lasting behaviors regarding their financial affairs. By choosing financial planning, I now have tools to help people with budgeting and the development of good savings habits; with restructuring and reducing debt; and enhancing their knowledge of insurance and investments. Financial planning is the perfect major for those interested in people and finance.
- What I like most about FACS
I appreciate the encouragement and support I have received from the administration, faculty and staff. Because of their support, I have been able to teach undergraduate courses and publish research, preparing me for a career in higher education.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I will continue working with clients through my practice, Peace Within Financial Counseling, LLC. I also hope to secure a teaching position with a university.
