- Why I chose my major
As a young child I always wanted to help others with their financial situations. After having one introductory cours,e I consulted my advisor in which she informed me of the financial planning major, and I was sold.
- What I like most about FACS
The day-to-day interactions with my professors and how helpful and personal they are willing to be with students. My professors have encouraged and guided me to do great things that I once only dreamed of doing. My professors have gone beyond their job description to help me excel in all aspects of the financial planning career path and I will always be grateful for the relationships FACS has allowed me to foster.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I will continue my work in the accounting department of UGA. During this time, I will be pursuing my Certified Financial Planner, General Securities, and Uniform Combined State Law designations. After obtaining these certifications I plan on beginning my career in the financial planning field.
