Why I chose my major

I was always a “fashionable child,” and over time, I became fascinated with consumer choices, business tactics and fashion design. I chose fashion merchandising because the coursework combined all my interests! Now, I know the classes are inspired by industry projects, situations and standards and that I am equipped to have a successful career in the evolving industry that I love.

What I like most about FACS

I love FACS because it’s the “college of open arms.” The college has functioned as my home away from home with intimate class sizes, welcoming faculty and personable professors who foster your personal and professional growth.

Post-graduation plans

I will be moving to Warner Robins, Ga., where I will launch my career in the fashion industry.
