- Why I chose my major
Throughout various challenges in life, I’ve discovered that I am inherently passionate about applying economic and financial planning concepts in daily life. As a young man within the confines of an Air Force base, I observed extremely high levels of poverty and financial illiteracy in several foreign countries. Realizing that my experiences motivate the passion I have for providing financial services has allowed me to confidently select this major and career path.
- What I like most about FACS
My favorite thing about FACS is the seemingly limitless support each student receives from the faculty and staff members. Much like a family, FACS has allowed me to comfortably open up and maximize my learning capabilities. My professors’ willingness to be accessible and contributory has exceeded my expectations by consistently making sure that all the resources are available to each student. I am immensely thankful for the continuous support that I have received from my fellow FACS dawgs.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan to enter the financial services industry by sitting for the Certified Financial Planner designations and pursue a financial planning career.
