- Why I chose my major
Nutritional sciences is often overlooked by many, but it plays such an imperative role in our lives. I chose to be a nutritional science major because in the past I’ve struggled with properly fueling my body and I was ready to turn that weakness into a strength. I later realized how big of an impact ‘diet culture’ has on our society and I’d love to help and educate more individuals on the benefits of a balanced diet. Nutrition is also an important factor in dental health which aligns with my ultimate career goal to be a dentist.
- What I like most about FACS
FACS has professors who care about you. It’s not just about learning information for a test, the professors here have challenged me in ways that will allow me to provide knowledgeable and great care to my future patients.
- Post-graduation plans
I will be working in Atlanta as a dental assistant while I work on my application to dental school this summer.
