Why I chose my major

I was originally drawn to the University of Georgia for the Human Development and Family
Science major because nothing like it is offered in my home state. I have always been passionate
about helping others and gaining a deeper understanding of life from different perspectives.
HDFS was exactly this!

What I like most about FACS

I have loved FACS from the moment I stepped into Dawson Hall. The advisors and professors
are incredibly welcoming and genuinely invested in each student’s success. There have been
countless times when FACS staff have gone above and beyond to support me in my goals of
becoming an occupational therapist, and I will always be grateful for the encouragement and
community I’ve found here.

Post-graduation plans

I plan to pursue a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy!
