- Why I chose my major
Financial Planning is a special career because you dive deeper than just the numbers, you are building strong relationships with individuals. I knew I wanted to get into financial planning because of the opportunity for personal and professional growth and fulfillment while being provided with a platform that would allow me to give back to my community through increasing financial literacy. The financial planning program has prepared me to feel confident and comfortable with starting my career within the industry.
- What I like most about FACS
I have had a great experience within FACS thanks to the experiential learning opportunities and practical tools that the program provides while learning from and being mentored by the exceptional faculty and staff members who teach within FACS. My teachers have provided me with the guidance, resources, and real-world experience that has helped me grow my knowledge within the financial lanning field and has prepared me well to enter the profession after graduation.
- Post-graduation plans
I am currently interviewing with financial planning firms in Atlanta, New York and Charleston
