- Why I chose my major
I chose to major in fashion merchandising because my love for fashion was just too big to ignore. I learned to sew at a fairly young age, and that had always been my number one creative outlet. As I got older, I began to see fashion as an empowering and transformative factor. I realized that people stood taller and smiled brighter when they felt that they looked good, and I wanted to spend my life ensuring that everyone could feel this way.
- What I like most about FACS
I love that at FACS, we are a family. I’ve had different majors and went to different schools, but none of them felt like home. Yet each time I go to Dawson Hall, I instantly know that I’m with my people.
- Post-graduation plans
Starting January 3, I will officially be an assistant buyer at Ballard Designs in Atlanta.
