What has been your proudest accomplishment since graduating?

I have truly enjoyed teaching and hopefully making a positive difference in people’s lives.

What was your favorite class in FACS?

I was in general FACS for undergraduate school and truly enjoyed every class, professor and subject. During graduate school, my favorite class was Historic Costume.

Did you have a favorite – or most memorable – faculty member?

Dr. James Peifer in nutrition and Ms. Winnie Luffman in textiles

How do you think FACS prepared you for your career success?

Completing the broad curriculum that included all four subject areas created opportunities in education for me that spanned preschool through high school. The economics classes were a great foundation for becoming an Extension agent and accounts receivable administrator.

What inspires or motivates you?

What advice would you give a current FACS student looking to pursue a career in your field?
