- Why I chose my major
I chose financial planning because I wanted to help low to moderate income families achieve financial well-being and give them the freedom to enjoy life without living paycheck to paycheck. Finances are the source of a lot of conflict within families and I wanted to use the knowledge I gained in my financial planning courses to help bring families together as a unit.
- What I like most about FACS
I love FACS because the department encompasses so many different areas affecting families. From nutrition to consumer economics, the majors within the college all focus on helping individuals and families improve their physical, emotional, and financial health. I also love how small the classes are and how the students and faculty treat each other like family.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan to get a job within the financial service industry and attend grad school next fall at UGA.
