- Why I chose my major
During my first semester at UGA, I took an HDFS course to satisfy a prerequisite for nursing school, and I instantly fell in love with the major’s focus on supporting families and individuals across the lifespan. As a holistic and multidisciplinary field, HDFS has prepared me to become a more caring and well-rounded future nurse.
- What I like most about FACS
I am truly grateful for how much support I have received from my professors and peers! FACS is an incredibly caring and encouraging college, and I hope to carry all that I have learned here with me to nursing school.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I will be attending the master’s in nursing program at Emory University. I am very excited to live in Atlanta, and I plan on graduating and receiving my Registered Nursing License in 2025!
