- Why I chose my major
I chose my major after looking at the “big picture” of life. Economics is essentially seen from the standpoint of big businesses and what they can do to expand and increase profits. After realizing what consumer economics is, I felt that this was the exact path I needed to take to grow and succeed. Consumer economics works entirely with people who shape everyday society. We see and learn about the views that impact policies, new legislation and life for everybody. After realizing how relatable this major is for every aspect of life, I knew there was nothing else I wanted to pursue!
- What I like most about FACS
FACS has shown me just how much people care and want you to succeed! As a student who was commuting, working full-time off campus, and unfortunately not too active on campus, I have seen an incredible amount of support from so many individuals. The personal connections I have made is something I will hold close to my heart forever. There are countless people I could name who have changed my life in different ways, and I believe that is why FACS is amazing! The advice, leadership and kindness are incredibly unmatched and forever appreciated.
- Post-graduation plans
I have accepted a full-time role at an amazing healthcare recruiting firm! I am so excited to start my journey at a company that provides such meaningful, important work!
