UGA VITA
Through a partnership with Georgia United Credit Union, student volunteers with the University of Georgia Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program have assisted more than 10,000 households statewide in preparing and filing state and federal income tax returns free of charge while also providing client-specific tax planning education for the following tax year. Hancock Community Development
Hancock Community Development’s VITA program offers free tax help to those in Athens who make $51,000 or less and need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. To make a free take preparation appointment, call 706-546-1154 or visit their website.

EADC is offering free tax filing services through their VITA program each Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This service is by appointment only.
