More than 500 graduates join growing FACS alumni family
More than 500 students were ushered into the FACS alumni family as the University of Georgia held commencement ceremonies May 13-15 in Sanford Stadium.
In lieu of the traditional in-person FACS convocation, the college mailed two copies of a graduation program, along with a gift, to every graduate. An electronic version of the program can be viewed here.
The electonic version contains embedded video messages from Dean Fox, FACS Alumni Association president Kenneth Ivory and two graduates, Julie Dean and Isabel Rutledge, who delivered the student perspective and student challenge speeches, respectively.
Caroline Brown, a human development and family science major, was recognized as the Bill and June Flatt First Honor Graduate.
HDFS major Annabelle Armah was named the Bill and June Flatt Outstanding Senior.
Several students were recognized as featured graduates in the days leading up to UGA commencement. Those profiles can be viewed here.
