New York

The New York Study Away Maymester Program offers fashion merchandising and interior design students an action-packed schedule. Through professional visits, students learn about e-commerce, digital marketing, trend analysis, brand conceptualization and sustainable fashion practices. They familiarize themselves with various fashion auxiliary services, the best practices of social media use in the fashion industry and about launching fashion startups, among many others.  Students will also have the opportunity to meet designers of global design houses, stylists, makeup artists, runway models etc. Additionally, they attend a Broadway show, visit the Metropolitan Museum’s fashion exhibit and explore New York’s vibrant fashion and retail environment. After the visits, students have the opportunity to explore New York and do some shopping as well.
