Affiliates of the David Ralston Institute for Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities are members of a broad interdisciplinary network advancing behavioral health and developmental disability research, workforce development, education, policy, and community impact across Georgia.

Affiliates of the David Ralston Institute for Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities are individuals engaged in research, teaching, service, workforce development, policy, advocacy, or community-engaged activities aligned with the Institute’s mission to advance behavioral health and developmental disability research, workforce development, and community impact across Georgia. Affiliates represent a broad interdisciplinary network of faculty, researchers, practitioners, students, public agencies, and community partners committed to strengthening systems of care, supporting innovation, and improving outcomes for individuals, families, and communities across the state. Affiliate status is intended to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, support research and program development, strengthen workforce and training initiatives, and expand opportunities for engagement across research, practice, policy, and public service.

Affiliate appointments are granted for a two-year term and provide opportunities to participate in Institute activities, collaborative initiatives, working groups, events, research teams, and professional development opportunities, as available.
